Delicious light red made with the Schiava grape variety.
The Schiava grapes are sourced from vineyards in the foothills of the Valle dell'Adige and Valle dei Laghi, at 250-350 metres altitude. Fragrant aromas of raspberry and cherry with floral hints. The palate is delicate and fruity with bright, crunchy berry characters, fresh acidity and notes of almond and herb on the finish.
Perfect with light salads, pasta dishes, and also a red that works well with meaty fish such as tuna steak or fish stew. Best served chilled.
"So fresh, lithe and vibrant. Raspberry, cranberry and cherry stone. A hint of apricot-kernel savouriness in the very, very light tannic framework and then dried mint and dried dill on the finish. An exquisitely refined, fragrant, ethereal wine. If you love burgundy, you'll love this (at a fraction of the price). GV " 17 points Tamlyn Currie -Wine Discoveries January 2025, Jancis Robinson
