Garnet red with a violet sheen, the nose offers notes of plum jam, sour cherry, country herbs and hints of violet over gentle, well-assimilated woody notes. Terse with fine tannins, the freshness energizes the palate, making for a skinny complexion in spite of the good body which adds to the energy at the back of the mouth before leaving a lick of fruit behind.
