Fabulous new Ribera del Duero. From mature vineyards 1000 metres above sea level. Vinification takes place purely by gravity, without the use of pumps and a philosophy of minimal intervention is followed to respect the characteristics of the fruit and its provenance. Fermentation took place at carefully controlled temperatures to preserve the freshness from this cooler microclimate. The wines aged for 12 months in 500 litre French oak barrels imparting subtle complexity, while retaining the purity of fruit. An intense and fresh wine which delivers an abundance of vibrant fruit flavours with background notes of spicy oak. The palate is round and beautifully balanced with a deep fruit flavour through to a long-lasting finish.
