Bodegas Izadi Rioja 'Seleccion' Blanco 2021 Case

This 2021 is a complex blend of mostly Viura, 11% Garnacha Blanca, 10% Maturana Blanca, 7% Tempranillo Blanco, 3% Torrontés and 3% Malvasía with 13.4% alcohol. It's from a cool vintage that delivered a vibrant wine with great acidity and freshness, serious, clean, with integrated oak. Tangy with peach and citrus fruit, hints of orange/mandarin too, creamy mid palate with toasty nutty oak. Lovely glass of wine that in this youthful stage evolves beautifully in the glass, becoming smoky, nutty, peachy and spicy, with good acidity keeping it clean and balanced.
