High in Italy’s dramatic Alpine north lies Alto Adige, a region where mountains meet vineyards — and where Nals Margreid craft some of our favourite wines. This evening will be a celebration of flavour, freshness, and the remarkable diversity of grape varieties the region offers.
Tuesday 16th September, 7.15pm – Tickets £35 (includes Italian cheeses and cold meats)
Nals Margreid is a top-quality co-operative, but not in the usual sense. They work only with grapes from the most carefully chosen vineyard sites, ensuring that every bottle reflects its unique terroir. Their winemaking philosophy is simple: handle the fruit with respect, and let the vineyard speak. The result? Elegant, aromatic wines with real depth and character.
On the night, we’ll explore single-vineyard expressions of Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and the charming local Schiava. These wines capture the region’s signature balance of Alpine freshness and Mediterranean ripeness — think crisp mountain breezes meeting long, sunny days.
To complete the Italian atmosphere, we’ll serve a generous selection of Italian cheeses and cold meats. This is a relaxed, flavour-packed evening — perfect for discovering new grape varieties, revisiting old favourites, and enjoying wines that truly bring a place to life.
