Join us at NYWines of Cambridge for an evening with award-winning New Zealand winemaker Jules Taylor.
Born in Marlborough in the same year the region’s first vines were planted, Jules has spent her career helping shape the story of modern New Zealand wine. After several vintages in Italy and years producing some of Marlborough’s best-known wines, she launched Jules Taylor Wines in 2001 — now one of the region’s most respected independent producers.
Jules believes wine should be about enjoyment, good food and good company, and her wines reflect exactly that approach.
During the tasting, Jules will guide us through a range of wines showcasing the breadth of Marlborough today. Alongside her signature Sauvignon Blanc, we’ll taste Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Grüner Veltliner — all produced from carefully selected vineyard sites around the region.
Rather than using high-yield valley-floor fruit, Jules works with smaller vineyard parcels on the margins of Marlborough, where hillside sites and clay soils produce wines with more texture, character and complexity.
A relaxed and informal evening with one of New Zealand wine’s leading winemakers.
