Vienna isn’t just about coffee houses and opera — it’s also home to some truly exciting wines. For over 30 years, we’ve been proud to import the elegant, expressive bottles of Weingut Wieninger, and this October, we’re welcoming Stefanie Lobner to share their story.

Fritz Wieninger is a pioneer of the ‘New Vienna’ wine movement, blending modern winemaking with over a century of family tradition. The estate’s 50 hectares are split between two distinctive vineyard sites: Bisamberg, with its sandy loess soils and bright, zesty wines, and Nussberg, where limestone and clay give richer textures and deeper fruit.
Biodynamic since 2008, Wieninger wines are full of life — fresh, complex, and unmistakably Viennese. Expect to taste some of their flagship white blends, expressive single varietals, and perhaps a few surprises from the cellar.
Stefanie is a lively and knowledgeable host, and she knows the estate inside out. She’ll guide us through the wines with warmth and insight, painting a picture of Vienna’s unique terroir and traditions. We’ll also be serving food throughout, including two hot dishes, making this a full evening of Austrian-inspired indulgence.
