Campo de Borja sits on a high, windswept plateau in northeastern Spain, close enough to the Pyrenees to catch the cold Cierzo wind that keeps the region dry and its vines healthy. Old-vine Garnacha, some planted on the slopes of an extinct volcano, is the region's calling card, producing deeply coloured, generously fruited reds that consistently offer some of Spain's best value.
