Champagne Henriot Les Reserves
Established in 1808, Champagne Henriot is a one of the last independently owned Champagne houses in Reims. It has been family owned and run for eight consecutive generations. The exceptional proportion of wines from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards, the ageing times and the quantity of reserve wines used in producing each blend illustrate the demanding standards that are only possible thanks to the freedom to make decisions, years of experience and the imagination to create the future.
The finest Blancs de Champagne are at the heartof the history, the vines and the very essence of Maison Henriot. The champagne house incorporates an exceptionally high proportion of Premiers and Grands Crus in its cuvées, which come from the best Chardonnay parcels. The Henriot family nurtures a special affinity for these wines grown on soils where the chalk is purest and which gives the wines an intriguing and iodine minerality. These terroirs also convey the promise for outstanding longevity. The brilliance of this fresh and intense maturity reaches its height with the Cuve 38, an incarnation of the ultimate and virtuoso expression of these Grands Blancs de Champagne. The cuvée Blanc de Blancs, both pure and delicious, continues this pleasure.
