The ripe acidity is coupled with beautiful ripeness. Energy, power and finesse lead to greediness with exceptional balance and length in this dry Riesling. Salty and textured on the palate. A baby with lots of ageing potential.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\"From a parcel formerly owned by nuns in the Geisberg Grand Cru, the 2020 Riesling Vignoble du Couvent de Ribeauvillé has a slight hint of dried fruit, golden sultana and dried lemon peel. The palate, again, is precision itself. Fluid, textured and rich but compact in shape, it's formed by stone and almost viscous at its core. Lemon and citrus swirl headily but in a forward direction, towards a kind of citrus nirvana. The essential coolness remains. As does a real salty tang on the finish. The citrus finish is endless.
