A bright and crunchy palate bursting with red fruit -pomegranate in particular. The tannins are ripe but present giving it some backbone. I really like it and it is a great food wine, like many Sicilian wines being a great match to the usually hard tomato, think seafood pasta, bolognese, pizza, lasagne the Italian classics! Even an arrabiata would work well.
