Ecker are well known to many of you and they make fabulous clean, bright, fresh wines from the Wagram region in Austria.
This Gruner Veltliner is from the Schlossberg vineyard. Its just a touch richer than the entry level wine. Stone fruit, some classic white pepper and lemon/lime citrus. Clean and fresh with good palate weight and a touch of spice. Really versatile food wine, think goulash, smoked fish/white meats, squash dishes, through to pork and chicken.
