This is a truly amazing Vinho Verde, made from the premium Alvarinho variety. This is apparently the first Vinho Verde to be made in Melgaco, Northern Portugal. We have a very limited amount of their top wine the 'Primeiras Vinhas'. Great depth, rich, yet fresh and minerally, beautiful balance of stone fruits, citrus zest and crisp acidity. Beautiful wine.
