The first release since 2013 and the first with fruit from the cool Adelaide Hills which we are really delighted with. Stylistically similar to previous releases, but just better! Better fruit, more weight and varietal definition. Really floral, perfumed nose, lychee along with mango, peach, elderflower, quite grapey with just a hint of spice. Stainless steel fermented, partial wild yeast, and just off-dry with about 7 grams per litre residual sugar. Dry and tangy on the palate with lychee, musk, grapey flavours, some stone fruit and citrus too. Lots of spice and a clean dry finish. Great food wine- think Thai dishes, great with ginger and chilli, could cope with lots of Asian dishes in fact.
