This is cooler climate Australian Shiraz at its best. Pepper, smoky, meaty notes with red and black berry fruits and a touch of oak on the nose. Medium bodied - lots of lovely plum and cherry/berry fruit, a touch of stalk/herb in a complexing way with pepper and oak giving the wine a sheen and plushness. Really good.
