Casa Marin Sauvignon Blanc 'Cipreses Vineyard'
"The very young and reductive 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Cipreses Vineyard was a bit hard to read, as it needed time in the glass to open up. They say it's a combination of old and new world styles, with ripeness, elegance and minerality. It has a little more volume than the Cartagena from the same year, and the 10% of the volume that matured in barrel for four months seems to have added a little more depth and nuance. It has herbal and citrus notes and a refreshing palate with pungent flavors and vibrant acidity, finishing dry and long. It's simply superb. 24,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2020. This should develop nicely in bottle." 95 pts Luis Gutiérrez The Wine Advocate
